DESCRIPTION:As agreed at the NDDCS AGM and outlined in the letter below the area which the charity covers is North Devon & Torridge.  This means those deaf children and their families living in this area will not require a membership. \nIf you don’t know you can search your postcode here: https://www.gov.uk/find-local-council \nFamilies in the wider Devon area are welcome to purchase an optional membership to benefit from the charities subsidised events.  Anyone out with Devon or those not wishing to purchase the membership will still be entitled to join the NDDCS events & days out at standard admission costs. \nMemberships will allow subsidised events for deaf children\, siblings (siblings up to 17yrs 11m) plus 2 adults. \nOpen Letter \nNDDCS_Cancellation Policy

DESCRIPTION:Polar Express Tram\, Seaton Tramway\nSaturday 5th December – 1pm – 3.30pm\n\nNDDCS are subsidising this event by 50% for deaf children\, siblings and up to two accompanying adults.\n\nTickets are extremely limited and we cannot purchase more once we have sold out. We will email within 48 hours to confirm we have secured your tickets. Beyond this time\, tickets are non refundable as per Seaton’s T&C.\n\nAfter booking\, please email if there are any allergies. We will send this to Seaton but please confirm allergens directly with Seaton Tramway on the day\, to be sure.\n\nA magical Polar Express experience on Seaton Tramway. The trams are less spacious than the Buckfastleigh Polar Express we offered last year.\n\nFamilies will enjoy the magical tram ride to Santa’s home at the North Pole in one of the specially decorated single-deck tramcars\, enjoy a cup of hot chocolate\, a delicious cookie\, speak to Santa and admire the awesome lights whilst you walk around the North Pole.\n\nAll guests will receive their first gift of Christmas – A Silver Sleigh Bell – from Santa himself. Upon the return journey\, you will be able to enjoy singing along to Christmas carols. For the grown-up kids\, too\, this is a trip down memory lane to a traditional Christmas of old.\n\nThe experience lasts approximately 2.5 hours.

DESCRIPTION:Sail with Santa – Stuart Line Cruises\nSunday 6th December 10am departure: meet 9:45am\n\nPrice: £5 per person. All adults and children require a ticket (including babies in arms). This event is for deaf children\, siblings & up to 2 adults only.\n\nStuart Line hand pick gifts for all children and babies booked. Please could you email hellonddcs@gmail.com with name of child\, boy/girl and age. If your child needs an older or younger aged gift\, then please feel free to put this in the email.\n\nThis is a fun and festive 1 hour round trip from Exmouth. Children will receive a ticket to visit Santa’s Grotto and there is an array of included entertainment on board\, such as Punch and Judy\, balloons\, face painting etc. Drinks and snacks are given to children and adults receive mulled wine/juice and a mince pie.\n\nThe price is subsidized with thanks to our East Devon Community Grant. Places are limited and once they are sold out\, we cannot book any more. Please do book in advance to guarantee your spot.\n\nSome info from the website:\n\n“Our Sail with Santa Cruises make a visit to Santa’s Grotto not only one they will remember but will soon become part of your family Christmas tradition! Setting sail along the peaceful waters of the River Exe\, our boats have an indoor heated lower deck with large windows for great viewing. \nThis cruise is packed from start to finish with heaps for everyone to do! Watch whilst our entertainers captivate their audience and prepare to roar with good old-fashioned laughter as the traditional Punch and Judy show entertains the adults and children alike! \nTasty treats including drinks and snacks are served to make sure the children are refreshed and ready to go to see Santa! His magical custom-built grotto on the lower deck is full of festive charm as everyone is welcomed down the staircase to meet the man himself. We take exceptional care when selecting the gifts for the children and each one is hand-wrapped by our very own elves! \nFor the adults\, there are warm\, locally produced mince pies and a glass of our homemade secret recipe mulled wine to enjoy whilst the children are delighted and entertained from start to finish.
