DESCRIPTION:As agreed at the NDDCS AGM and outlined in the letter below the area which the charity covers is North Devon & Torridge.  This means those deaf children and their families living in this area will not require a membership. \nIf you don’t know you can search your postcode here: https://www.gov.uk/find-local-council \nFamilies in the wider Devon area are welcome to purchase an optional membership to benefit from the charities subsidised events.  Anyone out with Devon or those not wishing to purchase the membership will still be entitled to join the NDDCS events & days out at standard admission costs. \nMemberships will allow subsidised events for deaf children\, siblings (siblings up to 17yrs 11m) plus 2 adults. \nOpen Letter \nNDDCS_Cancellation Policy

SUMMARY:North Devon Wake Park - 8th August
DESCRIPTION:North Devon Wake Park\nSaturday 8th August 4pm\nOnly participants need to book.\n\nJoin us for a session on the Aqua Park (no ringo ride). Wet suits are provided and children will receive a hot meal afterwards-  options to be shared closer to the time (allergies catered for).\n\nWe had great fun last year. There is usually a disclaimer which we will email out (responses go directly to the Wake Park). A few “rules” to check before booking:\n\n\n\n\nMust be at least 1.1m tall to play on the AquaPark. \n\n\nOur minimum age is 6. \n\n\nAnyone under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult (2 children:1 adult ratio). \n\n\nThose aged 8 to 16 can go in the water without an adult but a guardian must not leave the site. \n\n\nEveryone who wants to go on the AquaPark must be able to swim 25m without a buoyancy aid. \n\n\nWe advise pregnant women\, those with heart conditions and anyone with current or reoccurring injuries not to take part.

DESCRIPTION:Surf Lesson Session\nSurf South West\, Croyde\nTwo Dates- Saturday 22nd August and Sunday 23rd August\, 2pm – 4pm\n£5 per participating child\, per session. Siblings welcome\n\nWe have a weekend of surfing! It would be great if your child is able to attend both dates\, but if you can only do one\, please still sign up as we’d love for you to join. Suitable for beginners upwards.\nWetsuits and boards provided.\nBring sun cream\, swim wear for underneath and a towel.\nSubsidized prices are for children only\, but accompanying adults are able to receive free wetsuit hire if you’d like to support whilst in the water.\nPlease arrive 10-15 mins beforehand to check in.\nWe will be sharing details of an optional camping trip to match these dates.
