What We’ve Been Doing

• We had our final surf lesson with Surf S.W. Croyde funded by a Sports England grant.
• We went to Lundy Island for the day with some very calm waters and warm weather.

Latest Fundraising Information

• We are featuring on the Tesco blue token scheme in Braunton for possible cook & sign sessions. Don’t forget to put your blue token in our section from October to January.
• If anyone has any fundraising ideas or would like to do a sponsored event, please let us know.
• We have some money to revamp our newly diagnosed packs, but we need someone to take on the project, research the best ideas to go in them and costs. Please email if you can help.

What’s Coming Up

• The AGM has been scheduled for Thursday 17th October from 7pm (Children’s Club Building, Charles Dart Crescent, Barnstaple). Anyone is welcome to come along, learn more about the charity, offer ideas/opinions and provide help in large or small ways (for those who wish & are able).
• We are looking for people to join the committee as well as suggestions for 2025 adventures.
• Sail with Santa, Exmouth – Book Now!
• Beauty & The Beast Pantomime, Barnstaple – Book now!
• Possibly a Christmas Sing & Sign Session
• Christmas parent/carer get together (more details to follow)
• Termly trips starting in 2025, watch this space

All outings are heavily subsidised by the charity for deaf children & their families.

The Facebook group is a place where anyone is welcome to ask deaf-related questions, offer advice or recommendations to others, and arrange individual meet-ups/catch-ups.

Our events are for children with all levels of deafness and their families.
