What We’ve Been Doing
- Crystal & Paul walked 50km each along the Jurassic Coast to help raise money & awareness.
- Some families went to the theatre in Exeter to see Dragons & Mythical Beasts.
- Exmouth mini coastal cruise was a fun day out.
Latest Fundraising Information
- We have booked a spot at the Mid Devon Show on 27th July. Please let us know of any fundraising ideas or if you’d like a shift manning the stall (volunteers will receive free entry into the show).
- We have a few collection tins waiting to take up residency somewhere. If you have any suggestions let us know.
- Rhona & Crystal are walking The Ultra 50km South West Challenge in August to help raise Deaf Awareness and money for NDDCS.

- Mini Beast BSL interpreted Workshop in Witheridge (externally organised)

- Wimbleball lake windsurfing/paddling boarding & archery taster sessions
- Lundy trip in September. Get in touch if you’d like to come; this is open to all at the group discount rate (subsidised for deaf children/siblings +2 adults). Payment required by the end of June.
All outings are heavily subsidised for deaf children & their families.
Useful Information
Why not apply for a CEA card:
The CEA Card is a national card scheme developed for UK cinemas by the UK Cinema Association (UKCA). The Card enables a disabled cinema guest to receive a complimentary ticket for someone to go with them when they visit a participating cinema for just £6 a year.
Our events are for children with all levels of deafness and their families.
